About the role
Fleetspec Hire’s service department, (Fleetspec Service) perform fleet maintenance, servicing and repairs of current model fleet (rigid truck & bus) and also passenger and light commercial vehicles. Fleetspec are now looking to increase our technical staff on a permanent basis, due to current and continual growth. Located in Balcatta, Fleetspec Service’s facility is spacious and has been recently fitted out with new hoists and equipment.
Competitive above award rates are offered plus overtime available.
Duties
Main duties include routine servicing, maintenance and repairs to all models of rigid trucks, buses, light commercial and passenger vehicles.
Qualifications and Essential Criteria:
- Trade Qualification – Heavy / Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic (heavy preferred).
- Recent employment in a similar position with minimum 3 years of experience post apprenticeship.
- Australian Heavy Vehicle drivers licence.
- Own tools.
- Experience with current model heavy commercial vehicles.
